Project Details

Location: Coastal Gulf of Mexico

Client Request: Provide a safe and non-destructive solution for burial of 7,000′ of 36″ live gas pipeline in shallow water of the Gulf of Mexico.

Our Solution: Javeler designed and fabricated a twin DP-150 dredge pump configuration to safely straddle the pressurized pipeline while jetting and excavating the soil below to achieve the required burial depth. The 7,000′ of pipeline was sucessfully buried in 2.5 weeks. An ROV was utilized for inspection prior to demobilization which revealed zero damage to the pipeline coating.
